Dr Mohammad Sharif Sharifi, the Auditor General of Afghanistan, visited IDI on April 24th. The IDI has supported the Supreme Audit Organization of Afghanistan by conducting a SAI PMF self-assessment for the last two years. This assessment was successfully completed by SAO in February 2017.
A key topic of the visit to IDI was to discuss further areas of cooperation between the IDI and SAOA since several IDI programmes are relevant for the Supreme Audit Organization, Islamic Republis of Afghanistan.
During the visit, SAO also met the Auditor General of Norway, Mr. Per-Kristian Foss. Another meeting was also conducted with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
