In the following week (8 – 12 May 2017) IDI team trained two teams of six auditors on how to conduct Quality Assurance review of an ISSAI based audit. The QA teams will do the QA review of four ISSAI based pilot audits (two compliance and two performance audits), which are currently under progress.

During the first week IDI team reviewed the documentation, working papers and the findings matrix of the audits conducted and provided detailed comments. At the QA training, IDI team explained the new Compliance and Performance Audit QA tools developed by the IDI. SAI teams used the QA tools to practice the QA review of one performance and two compliance audits of the SAI. QA training also covered the QA models and establishing QA function in the SAI.
